For candidates

AI takes the first call. We take it from there.

Raydar is an AI recruiting agency. One 15-minute Agent Call replaces the usual screening round. The hours that saves go into the parts that decide whether you get the job: finding you the right roles, preparing you for every round, and handling the salary conversation so you do not have to.

Book a 15-minute Agent Call

Free for candidates, always. Our fee is paid by the company, never by you.

The difference

Most agencies spend their human hours on the wrong half of the job

The screening call is the most repetitive part of recruiting and the least valuable to you. It is also where most of an agency's time goes. We gave that part to an agent so our recruiters spend their time on matching, prep and your offer instead.

How it usually goes

You do the work, and hope

  • A twenty minute call where you read out what is already on your résumé.
  • Your profile goes to whatever roles happen to be open that week.
  • A calendar invite, then silence until the night before.
  • You name a number first, and it quietly becomes your ceiling.

How Raydar works

You tell it once, we carry it

  • One 15-minute Agent Call captures the whole story, at any hour you like.
  • We check you against every open role in the network, then check again each time a new one lands.
  • A prep document before each round, built from what that hiring team actually asked for.
  • We already know what the role was budgeted at before you name a number.

How it works

Four things happen, and you only have to do the first one

01

One 15-minute Agent Call

Book a slot at any hour, including tonight, and join a short Google Meet with Raydar's interview agent. It asks about your background, what you want to do next, where you are willing to work, and what you need to earn. Ten to fifteen minutes and you are done.

The call is recorded and transcribed. That is deliberate: you tell your story once, and nobody makes you repeat it later.

02

We put you in front of the right teams

We complete your profile and build you a curated list of the roles you genuinely fit, drawn from the 511 companies hiring across our network. Then we keep looking. Every day for the six months after your call, every new role that lands gets checked against you, and anything that fits is added to your list.

You hear from us either way after the call. From then on, no new roles means no email: we do not send a message that amounts to no news.

03

Real preparation before every round

Before each interview we build you a document for that company, that round and the people whose names are on the invite. Not general advice. What this team is looking for, the questions you are likely to get, the weak spots in your profile and how to handle them.

It comes from the intake call with the hiring team, not from the job description. Those turn out to be very different documents.

04

We handle the offer

When an offer comes, you have someone on your side who knows what the role was budgeted at and has done this before. Most candidates negotiate once every few years. We do it constantly, and we do it without you having to be the one in the room asking.

Our fee is a percentage of your salary. Every extra dollar we win you, we take a cut of. Read that as an incentive rather than a favour.

Interview prep

The prep is the part nobody else does

Most interview advice is generic because most recruiters have nothing specific to give you. We do. Every role in our network begins with an intake call where the hiring team says, in their own words, what they want and what would rule someone out.

That is what your prep document is built from, along with the round you are actually walking into, who is in the room, and current research on the company.

Inside your prep documentOne company. One round. One person.
  1. The 90 second read
  2. Who you are meeting, and what they care about
  3. What this company does, decoded
  4. The questions you are most likely to get
  5. The risks in your profile, and how to answer them
  6. What not to say
  7. Questions worth asking them
  8. Logistics: the format, the length, who is in the room

Built fresh for each round, and read by a person before it reaches you.

Compensation

Name a number too early and it becomes your ceiling

Candidates routinely ask for less than the role was already budgeted at, because they are guessing and the company is not. We are not guessing either. We can see the range a company agreed to when it opened the role, which is exactly why we would rather you did not go first.

That is also why the Agent Call asks what you are targeting, base and total. Not to hold you to a number, but so that we know immediately when an offer is below what the role is funded for.

Straight answers

The questions we get asked most

Is Raydar free for candidates?

Yes, and it always will be. There is no fee to you at any point, and nothing is taken out of your salary. The placement fee is paid by the company that hires you.

The marketplace we recruit through also pays us small rewards when someone we put forward reaches an interview stage, so you never have to take our word for it that we are not simply pushing you somewhere to collect.

Is the Agent Call recorded?

Yes. The call is recorded and transcribed, and Paraform, the marketplace we recruit through, keeps its own recording as the record of the conversation.

That is the whole point of doing it this way. You explain your background once, and everything after that is built on what you actually said rather than on somebody's half remembered notes.

Who sees what I tell you?

Raydar, and Paraform, the recruiting marketplace we work through, which holds your profile and keeps the call as the record of the conversation. When we put you forward for a specific role, that company sees your profile and your résumé.

We are a recruiting agency, not a job board and not a data broker. Nobody buys your details from us. If you want to stop hearing from us, say so on the call or reply to any email and that is the end of it.

Do I have to be actively looking for a job?

No. Plenty of people take the call while they are happily employed, so that when something genuinely worth moving for comes up, we already know enough to tell them about it.

What if I am already interviewing somewhere?

Tell us on the call. It changes what we do and how fast. If you are late in a process elsewhere, we will say so rather than pretending we can start something that will not finish in time.

Should I apply to these companies directly?

Talk to us first. A direct application can make Raydar ineligible to represent you for that role, and if we cannot represent you, you lose the prep and you lose having someone handle the offer.

What happens after the call?

We complete your profile, then match you against the roles open across our network and build you a curated list. For the six months after your call we recheck it every day, and when a new role lands that fits you, it goes on your list and you hear from us.

Once you are set up, if nothing new has landed you hear nothing. We do not send a weekly message that says there is no news.

Can I talk to a person instead of an agent?

Yes. An Intro Call is fifteen minutes with someone on the Raydar team and no agent involved. There are fewer slots and they need a couple of hours notice, so the Agent Call is the faster door, but the option is there.

Your next move

Fifteen minutes, once, and we take it from there

Book whenever suits you, including right now. If you would rather start with a person, you can book an Intro Call instead.
